When you upload or take a photo of a menu, the app extracts text from the image on your device (OCR). The extracted text may be processed to provide app functionality, such as identifying menu items and estimating nutritional information.

• We do not store or transmit your photos.
• Images are processed locally on your device and discarded after text extraction.

b. AI Processing

Extracted text may be sent to third-party AI service providers, including OpenAI, to analyze menu content and generate results.

• Only text (not images) is sent.
• This data is not linked to your identity.

c. Local Device Storage

We may store certain preferences (such as your nutrition or eating goals) locally on your device. This information is not transmitted to our servers.

d. Non-Personal Data Storage

We store non-personal restaurant and menu data on our servers (e.g., via Supabase) to improve app performance and reduce repeated processing.

e. No Personal Data Collection

We do not require user accounts and do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information such as your name or email address.

f. Subscription Purchases

Subscriptions are processed through Apple’s App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.
